Ticket Refunds

Tickets are refundable up until 1 Day before your tour. You can cancel directly through your online booking until midnight the day before your tour. Cancellations via email/phone can be refunded up until 5:00pm the day before your tour. No shows are nonrefundable.

Late Arrivals

Our tours depart at predetermined times so please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your departure time. We will not delay a tour to wait for late arrivals.  If you have gotten lost or traffic is holding you up and you know you are not going to make it on time, it is advisable to call the farm and let us know so we can try to reschedule your tour.

Cancelled Tours

Any cancelled tours due to weather or unforeseen circumstance will be refunded. In the event of a cancelled tour, we will send out an email as soon as possible prior to the tour time booked.  If you don’t have access to your email on the day of your tour and it is inclement weather (pouring rain, high winds, snow storm) call the farm to find out if your tour has been cancelled.  If we have not cancelled the tour and you do not wish to participate it is up to you to cancel at least 1 Day before your tour time to get a refund.

Rules of the Farm

There is no smoking and no pets policy for the farm. There are many wood buildings on the property and we take no smoking very seriously.  Smoking is permitted in the parking lot and there is a butt container at the entrance to the farm from the parking lot.  We have fires going in the sugar bush for the demonstrations but for the care of the wildlife in the bush and courteousness of the other guests we request that you do not smoke in the forest.

Accessibility

We do have a few accessible parking spaces near the entrance to the farm from the parking lot.  The Maple Sweet Shop, Sugar Shack and washrooms are wheelchair accessible (up to 32” wide).  The Sugar Bush Trek is not.

Covid-19 Policies

Wellness

Wellness includes the provincial and regional requirements to help protect our staff and guests and minimize transmission of Covid-19. These requirements may change from time to time, without notice, as directed by Public Health.

Do not come to the farm if you are unwell, have been in contact with someone unwell or if you have been asked to isolate or stay home. If you are unsure, please follow the guidelines using the provincial self-assessment tool https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/

Face Masks

Face masks are required to be worn by staff and guests at all times. Children aged 2 years old and younger are not required to wear a mask. There are NO other exceptions. Avoid touching your face when wearing a mask. Always apply and remove your mask with clean hands. A face mask (of any sort, including sport specific) is defined as the following: Made of tightly woven cloth or fabric, with at least two layers; fits snugly, without gaps; covers your nose, mouth, and chin.

– Anywhere that physical distancing is not possible

*Face masks may only be removed when sitting to eat or drink, as aligned with Ontario regulations for dining. This includes the dining portion of the Campout Lunch and the Taffy Shack portion of the Sugar Bush Trek ONLY.

Physical Distancing

All guests are expected to maintain physical distance when walking along trails, while seated in the wagon and while inside the Sugar Shack and Maple Sweet Shop. Avoid unnecessary contact with employees and other guests when possible.

Capacity Limits

Capacity Limits are in place to reduce contact with staff and other guests at the farm:
The “Sugar Shuttle” (Wagon) – 18 people
“Campout Lunch” Camp Sites – 6 people
The Maple Sweet Shop – 5 people
The Sugar Shack – 5 people
