Land Acknowledgement

At White Meadows Farms, we acknowledge that we are situated on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, bound by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Agreement, a treaty of peace and shared responsibility to care for the land and its resources.

We are deeply grateful for the generations of knowledge shared by these communities, especially the original makers of maple syrup on this land. We recognize the cultural significance of these forests and remain committed to learning from and honouring the traditions of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples as we carry on the work of maple syrup production.
