Farm Tour Policies

Rules of the Farm

There is no smoking and no pets policy for the farm. There are many wood buildings on the property and we take no smoking very seriously.  Smoking is permitted in the parking lot and there is a butt container at the entrance to the farm from the parking lot.  Sometimes we have fires going in the sugar bush for demonstration but for the care of the wildlife and courteousness of the other guests there is no smoking allowed in the forest.

Accessibility

We do have accessible parking spaces near the entrance to the farm in the parking lot.  The Maple Sweet Shop and the Sugar Shack are wheelchair accessible. Our washrooms are wheelchair accessible — up to 32” wide.

The trails in the Sugar Bush are not wheelchair accessible as there are several steep hills and the ground can be uneven with loose stones in places. Proper outdoor footwear when visiting is recommended. Our trails are stroller friendly! Sport models or styles with larger wheels are recommended; fold-up, umbrella style strollers are not. You’ll have to lift the stroller up the steps to the wagon if visiting our sugar bush, please ask one of our helpful staff to assist you in this, if needed.
