We are thrilled to share some exciting news! White Meadows Farms has been recognized with the 2024 Ruby Award for Business Excellence by the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce! This prestigious honour celebrates the innovation, resilience, and community impact of businesses that go above and beyond in the Welland and Pelham communities.
The award was presented at the Ruby Awards Celebration, held at the beautiful Lookout Point Golf Club in Fonthill on November 21, 2024. Surrounded by outstanding businesses, passionate community volunteers, and inspiring youth, the event was a testament to the vibrant spirit of our region. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast, and we were humbled to take the stage among this year’s recipients.
Our Journey
This award is especially meaningful to us, as it reflects the dedication and hard work our team has poured into White Meadows Farms over the past five years. From navigating the challenges of the pandemic to reimagining our offerings we have strived to remain a cornerstone of Niagara agricultural and tourism community. During the event, owner Richard Bering, shared a few words about the role of teamwork in our success:
“It’s all about having people on your team who share your vision” he said, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, shared purpose, and passion for what we do.
Gratitude for Our Community
We owe this recognition to the incredible support we receive from our customers, team members, and community. It’s your enthusiasm for our maple syrup, tours, and handmade products that inspires us to innovate and evolve. We also take pride in giving back, whether by supporting initiatives like the Niagara Health Foundation’s Big Move Cancer Ride and The Brain Injury Association of Niagara’s Kerry’s Head for the Hills Trail Race, or sharing our home with visitors to experience the magic of the sugar bush.
Looking Ahead
This award is not just a celebration of our past achievements but also a motivator for the future. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to producing exceptional maple products and creating meaningful connections with our community.
Thank you to the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce for this incredible honour, and congratulations to all the other award recipients!
Together, we’re shaping a bright future for Niagara.
